Compassionate & Collaborative Individual Psychotherapy

IN-PERSON THERAPY IN HAMILTON AND VIRTUAL THERAPY ACROSS ONTARIO

When we give ourselves the chance to pause, we are able to make space for understanding, connection and choice.

You’re here because things aren’t working anymore. You’re starting to realize that the ways you used to cope with things aren’t working for you now.

You’re tired of the small things that keep turning into the same problems. You can see them coming but still can’t find a way to stop yourself from being swept up in it all.

There’s something familiar about the patterns, too. Whispers from your childhood, past relationships, or past experiences that you carry with you.

It would feel like a relief to make sense of what keeps bringing you back to the same spot - to understand the frustrations, longings and disappointments that keep the cycle turning so you can find a new way forward.

You have a vision of who you want to be as a person, partner, or parent, and you’re looking for a space where you can slow things down, make sense of things, and get back to your self.

Hi, I’m Marlena, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Hamilton, providing in-person therapy in Hamilton and virtual therapy across Ontario. With years of experience working in mental health, I help individuals who want to build a secure, confident relationship with their self and improve how they connect with others.

I also have a special interest in supporting parents and caregivers with navigating the emotional complexities of parenthood and building stronger relationships with their children.

Grounded in theories of attachment and neuroscience that consider the role of our emotions, relationships, and the ways we cope, I can help you explore and mange difficult emotions and feel more secure in your relationships.

Whether you’re navigating relationships, longing for balance, or are in the throes of parenthood, all parts of you are welcome here.
